Breathing New Life into a Downtown Landmark

The former Ogilvy department store at 1255 Rue Sainte-Catherine Ouest began a new chapter. In adapting this Montreal landmark for a new retail tenant, BBB + NEUF Architectes, in collaboration with DFS, worked to preserve the building’s distinctive historic fabric while introducing contemporary interventions aligned with today’s expectations for accessibility, sustainability, performance, and customer experience.
